Cleanliness and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of deli products, cleaning equipment and surfaces, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, notifying the Deli Manager of low stock items, and rotating products to minimize waste.
Cashier Duties: Operate the cash register accurately, handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide receipts to customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Deli Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and teamwork within the deli department.
Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, personal hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about deli products, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer customer inquiries accurately.
Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Deli Manager to support the overall operation of the deli department.
